Hi, I'm Laura.
Welcome to An Organized Project, I'm so glad you're here! I'm excited to share a little bit about my story, my passion for organizing, and the journey that led me to create this company. My professional career as a ballet dancer in New York City taught me discipline, precision, attention to detail, and the importance of preparation. These are qualities that continue to shape the way I lead projects and serve my clients today. About 10 years ago, another defining moment happened. One Friday morning, I walked into work and asked a coworker how they were doing. They smiled and replied, "Great...it's Friday!" I remember thinking, I want to be just as excited on a Monday morning as other people are on a Friday afternoon. So, I decided to build a business around something I genuinely loved doing, helping people create spaces that support their lives instead of overwhelm them, and that passion has grown into An Organized Project. Every client, every home, every office, and every move is unique. I have the privilege of helping individuals, families, businesses, and seniors navigate some of life's biggest transitions, from decluttering and downsizing to move management and creating customized organizing systems that truly last. Whether we're helping a family unpack after a move, supporting a senior through downsizing, organizing decades of paperwork, or creating systems that help a busy professional breathe a little easier, I believe every project deserves compassion, respect, and a customized approach to creating systems that feel natural and easy to maintain.

Laura is an active member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO), where she served on the NAPO Los Angeles (NAPO-LA) Board of Directors from 2019–2024, including as President. She is also a member of the National Association of Senior & Specialty Move Managers (NASMM), reflecting her commitment to serving older adults and individuals experiencing life's most significant transitions with compassion, patience, and respect. Through ongoing education and specialized training, she has developed a deep understanding of the unique emotional, physical, and logistical challenges that often accompany downsizing, relocation, estate clear-outs, and other major life changes. She tailors her approach to each client's unique needs, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and confident throughout the process.
Laura's commitment to professional excellence led her to serve four years with the Professional Organizers Learning Academy (POLA), where she helped develop educational programs and industry resources, ensuring clients benefit from the latest organizing strategies and best practices.

The CPO® credential is the only independently accredited designation in the organizing industry.
