Our process is intentional, efficient, and tailored to you. Whether you’re preparing for a move, managing a busy household, or seeking sustainable systems, we meet you where you are and guide you forward step by step.
Step 1: Start the Conversation.
​We begin with a brief phone call or email to understand your overall goals, timeline, and immediate concerns. This helps us determine the best next step and ensures our approach is aligned from the start.
Schedule A Consultation
Step 2: Consultation (In Person or Virtual).
Your consultation is a one-time working session with a Certified Professional Organizer®, completed before any hands-on organizing begins.

During this session, we will:
  • Clarify your goals and desired outcomes
  • Define the project scope and estimate timelines
  • Discuss customized organizing strategies and recommendations
  • Suggest products and trusted third-party resources, if needed
  • Take measurements, notes, and photos (on-site only)
  • Answer questions and talk through what’s been challenging
We will leave with a clear plan, defined next steps, and professional guidance to support moving forward with your project.
Step 3: Organizing Sessions.
Once you’re ready, we schedule your organizing session and confirm additional days as needed. Sessions are customized to your project and may include one or more organizers depending on the scope.

Services during organizing sessions may include:
  • Hands-on editing and decision support
  • Sorting and categorizing items
  • Containerizing
  • Labeling
  • System design, setup, and instructions
  • Paper management, shredding coordination, and recycling
  • Donation, consignment, e-waste, and discard coordination
  • Shopping for organizing products
  • Vendor coordination (movers, installers, haulers, etc.)
  • Project oversight and administration ​
  • Maintenance recommendations for long-term success
Step 4: The opportunity to continue on with our Organizing Maintenance Program (aka Refresh the work!).
Organizing Maintenance Program benefits include:
  • Ease, speed, and convenience; our organizers already know your space, which allows us to work efficiently without restarting or re-explaining
  • Faster results with less mental effort on your part
  • Automatic billing 
  • Preferred pricing on additional organizing sessions
  • Priority booking for ongoing or last-minute needs
This program is ideal for clients who want to maintain momentum, protect their investment, and enjoy continued support without having to think about what to do next.
Prefer Guidance Without Hands-On Organizing?
​For clients who want expert direction without booking organizing sessions, we also offer a Strategy & Product Planning Session.

In-Person or Virtual—Both Deliver Results.
We offer both in-person and virtual organizing services, and each approach is highly effective. While much of our work is completed on site, Virtual Organizing is a powerful option for planning, productivity, accountability, and system support, and it is available to clients anywhere.

​Our Owner, Laura Smith, is a Certified Virtual Organizing Professional™ (CVOP™) with proven success guiding motivated clients through the hands-on work themselves, providing expert direction, structure, and accountability every step of the way. Both options follow the same proven process: clarify goals, create a plan, implement systems, and support long-term success.
