Laura Smith is a Certified Professional Organizer® (CPO®), Certified Virtual Organizing Professional™ (CVOP™), and the Owner and Founder of An Organized Project.
Laura began her career as a professional ballet dancer in New York, where she fostered self-discipline and acute attention to detail. Her years of experience, along with advanced education, have provided her with the knowledge, mindset, and skills to help clients ease tension and take control of their lives. “We find purpose in making our clients' lives more manageable. My Team and I committed to earning their continuous confidence and trust.” ~ Laura Laura is a long-standing member of NAPO, the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals. She is a Past President of NAPO Los Angeles, and served on the NAPO-LA Board of Directors 2019- 2024. The CPO® is the only independently accredited credential for Organizers who have passed the Board of Certification for Professional Organizers (BCPO®) exam and have documented 1,500 paid hours of transfer-of-skills client work. Maintaining the CPO® requires continuous education in the industry in conjunction with recertification every three years. With Laura's passion for volunteerism and education in the industry, she served for four years in POLA, the Professional Organizers Learning Academy. Here she took part in sourcing speakers and professional development opportunities to bring other organizers relevant information to better serve their clients. An Organized Project is a certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE) with the City of Los Angeles and a certified Local Small Business Enterprise (LSBE) with Los Angeles County. |
